Now, if you type in “custom mugs” into this tool you’ll see that 33,100 people as of today are searching for this keyword phrase on a monthly basis. And if you type in “custom coffee mugs” you get another 22,200 people. That’s a total of 55,300 searches a month. Holy cow!
You’ll see that the word happens to be competitive. But, there is a 42% chance you can rank in the top 20. And with custom coffee mugs, there’s a 50% chance. So there is some SEO difficulty here when it comes to trying to rank for these keywords on Google.
You’ll have to keep that in mind if you’re wanting to print mugs for your e-commerce business.
But, are there people out there looking for a mug printing business? Yes, there absolutely are a lot of people searching for a mug printing business on a monthly basis.
It’s a business you can start with no inventory
I’m sure you’re thinking right now, did I just read that correctly? Yes, you did. This is an industry you can start up with no inventory and no equipment as well. You just have to know the right resources to find promotional product suppliers in the mug printing business.

But, you’ll have to know what you’re doing when installing this software.
