Are you looking to mold a custom keychain with your company logo? I’ve had clients want to do the exact same thing. It’s actually really simple if your working with a promotional product supplier.

I take it you want your custom keychain to be in the shape of your company logo. Like for instance in this case study, we did for Fitzgerald Equipment Company. They wanted a custom keychain in the shape of their company logo as shown on their website. This is how it turned out…

You can do many different decorating styles on silicone rubber, like a raised and flat affect. And if you don’t want silicone rubber you can go with metal and have a cut-out of your company logo instead.

Vector Artwork

What we’ll need from you is vector artwork of your company logo. If you are unsure what vector artwork is you can read this step-by-step guide explaining about vector images. Then you can email us your artwork explaining in detail what exactly you want to have done.

Anything you might have forgotten will more than likely be asked by your promotional product supplier. Like what are the dimensions of the custom keychain, do you want a keyring attached or not, what PMS colors are in your logo, what kind of packaging do you prefer? These are some of the questions that might be asked to complete your order.

Custom Mold

We will then work with our design team to come up with your custom keychain mold. Please be advised that you will incur mold fee charges when creating custom keychains in the shape of your company logo. It’s kind of like a setup charge but more expensive. Instead of a $50 setup fee, you’re looking at paying at least $150 mold fee.

Digital Paper Proof

Once the design is complete we’ll send you a digital paper proof to approve and move forward with production. However, it is highly recommended that if you run a custom order to get a pre-production sample of your product before running production. This way you know for sure how the production run is going to turn out by your pre-production sample.

And that’s it. It’s sort of the same process as placing a standard promotional product order with your company logo decorated on an item. Only this time there’s a mold required for production.
