Give customers a knowledgebase per se of your business’s frequently asked questions. And I’m not just talking about a frequently asked questions page on your website, you can have that too. I mean creating a blog post for each question and going over it in detail to answer any questions a visitor might have. Answering peoples questions in advance will help them build trust in your business.
For example, if you’re a flower shop, blog about how to make fresh cut flowers last longer. This will be something your customer can come back and look at later if they forgot your verbal instructions. Your customers will begin to appreciate you and your efforts put forth to answer their questions online.

That way you are targeting local cities in the area and building up those keywords in your blog posts.
You could do a similar blog post for another city. Like, 5 flowers you can buy for Valentine’s Day in Thousand Oaks CA. You get the point. Now that you write about these cities in your blog posts you should start to see an increase in your SEO rankings.
You might also want to create landing pages for each local city you plan on targeting. You can always link to and from your ‘city-specific’ blog posts to these landing pages.
